A successful Accounting Assistant at Hamilton Tharp can perform a variety of basic accounting functions for the firm and a variety of clients including bill paying, recording payroll, reconciling bank statements, credit card statements and investment statements, preparing financials in excel, monitoring cashflow and working closely with the Accounting Administrator for other tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate can prioritize, follow-through and complete tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
The Accounting Assistant can also develop competence and proficiency in general bookkeeping, general office functions and become proficient in QuickBooks, Excel and Outlook.
